TEXAS WOMAN ARRESTED FOR MURDER AND ARSON IN CONNECTION WITH COMMON-LAW SPOUSE’S DEATH

A shocking crime has unfolded in Texas, where 40-year-old Faith Paige Goynes has been taken into custody for allegedly shooting and burning her common-law spouse, Tomas Calavera Jr. Goynes is accused of murder and arson resulting in death or serious injury and is currently being held at the Calhoun County Jail.

The investigation began when Calhoun County officials requested a welfare check for Calavera’s child, prompting the Bandera County Sheriff’s Office to contact Calavera’s father.
