49-Year-Old Pensacola Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Incident, FHP Seeking Witnesses
A 49-year-old Pensacola man has died following a hit-and-run incident early Saturday morning in Escambia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The man, who was homeless, was discovered gravely injured at 4:38 a.m. in the north parking lot of 7171 North Davis Highway, near the JCPenney store. The area is frequently used for semi-truck and commercial vehicle parking, troopers reported.
Emergency responders transported the man to a local hospital, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
